Oropolí Township
Oropolí Township is located in the southeastern region of the department of El Paraíso, geographically is situated in a small valley that bears his name. The land area is 153.1 km ². For the first time Oropolí was founded in 1711, being the first settlers named Green family in 1789 was part Texiguat District. In 1791, the district was part Yuscarán and in 1845 was burned by a revolution led by General José Santos Guardiola, and February 11, 1865 received the title of town again.
